Vining identified this site for acquisition by the client and then worked closely with them to develop a master plan for the 11 acre disused Listed Railway Station and sidings. The final development included conversion of the ticket halls to commercial uses and new construction of 200+ apartments, a new Premier Inn Hotel, a new family pub, a Land Rover dealership and a 25 storey, 700+ bedroom student accommodation building all sitting next to the main Wolverhampton (high level) Railway Station.

The site constraints of the adjacent railway viaduct,  underground services and a difficult planning regime made this large scale project very challenging indeed. Multiple sales of the new build elements was achieved and  imaginative conversion of the listed buildings followed.
